This design was completed as part of an RFP process. Although Planworks was not selected as the successful proponent, we are proud of our Teams efforts on this project.

To be located in the Institutional District of the Town of Jasper, our proposed design for a new Jasper Transit EV Bus Storage Facility design was a building that tied into the distinctive and rich mountain town culture. Although the proposed development was not located in a highly visible neighborhood or the Town Centre, we recognized that the design needed to aligned with Jasper’s vision of sustainability principles and community goals. We believe that design can be functional, affordable and beautiful. Our goal was to ensure that this development provided the operational requirements for a heated bus storage facility in the Municipality of Jasper (MOP) and also met the high design standards of the Architectural Motif Guidelines for the Town of Jasper, ensuring that the building harmonizes with the surrounding mountain environment and that the design provides some ties to the historical context of buildings that are apart of Jasper’s past, present and future.
