The project vision, is to provide a multi-residential seniorhousing development, optimizing the site’s location in the inner-city neighbourhoodof Marda Loop in Calgary AB.

A change in land use (from MC-1 to MH-1) will enable thedevelopment of a 6 storey seniors housing, with a total of 100 dwelling units.This development would provide independent living within walking distance tomany services, amenities, and transit. The building will animate both 35th and36th Avenues, plus the lane, with ground floor units and entrances. Massingwill ensure contextual sensitivity to surrounding development, with step-downsat the east side of the site down to existing two-storey development.

The proposed complex with 100 units has an anticipated total parking of 101 vehicles stalls (5 surface, 64 on level 1, and 32 on level 2)and 50 bicycle stalls (split between each floor of the building). There is access to the underground garage proposed off 35 Avenue.
