Place la Rose du Marais is a 4.07 acre site located in Beaumont, Alberta. A mandated French theme throughout Beaumont was seen as an opportunity by the client and Planworks to celebrate a unique style of retail architecture. This development provides a quaint French atmosphere, with cobbled streetscape and primarily pedestrian focused environment as an amenity for the surrounding neighborhood. The first building was completed in 2021, with four more slated for the future.

The approximately 55,000SF of commercial/residential space will include 2 larger mixed-use buildings, supported by retail, restaurants, personal services and an adjacent parklike greenspace containing trails and ponds. Planworks is proud to be the Prime Architect responsible for design, working drawings, contract administration and coordination of this project.
